With a name like "Pretty in Pink," I was mentally prepared to find bubblegum tufted walls abounding with frilly frocks and other Barbie-esque accents, but I was surprised to discover that the name of this gem of a boutique was derived from the classic 80's flick as opposed to one overpowering color palette. I arrived at the boutique Pretty in Pink for the first time thinking I had a good idea of what I was about to see. After all, I follow them on twitter and am a fan on facebook. But when I walked through the doors of the new Costa Mesa boutique I instantly knew the atmosphere was a perfect match for the clothing. The colors on the brightly painted walls were an instant giveaway to the welcoming, relaxed vibe of the store. It was perfect. A little rock and roll, a bit of girlie... actually a bit for everyone. Even better, owner Holly Valdez couldn’t be nicer.
